Batteries
End-of-life, primary Lithium batteries, supplied by Technolog should be returned for safe disposal. We utilise specialist Approved Battery Treatment Operators (ABTO) who extract all materials from the waste Batteries using a multistep metallurgical process. Batteries are shredded and sorted into requisite components. There are many metals, plastics and secondary materials that are recovered including Steel casings, Plastic, Aluminum, Graphite and Lithium Carbonate which can be reused to make Lithium-Ion batteries. Battery recycling has an average material recovery rate of 96% or higher. This not only supports environmental sustainability but also ensures the efficient reuse of critical materials in future battery production.
Proper transfer – Customers returning end-of-life batteries or product, to Technolog shall receive waste transfer / consignment notes as evidence of receipt and correct disposal.

As a producer of industrial batteries, Technolog will dispose of a battery free of change, providing that –
- it was initially supplied by Technolog and
- a replacement battery of the same chemistry type is purchased in that same calendar year.
Technolog import and place on to the UK market Lithium Thionyl Chloride and Lithium Sulfuryl Chloride batteries.

Waste Electronics
At the end-of-life product can be returned to Technolog who shall process this waste to separate battery from electronics. Waste Electronics (WEEE) will be further processed by a specialist waste contractor who shall extract all recyclable materials. This includes the plastic enclosure, steel and aluminium and copper from cables, circuit tracks, connectors and components, and precious metals from circuit components.
