Whilst most low power M2M devices are currently taking advantage of 2G or 3G cellular communications for delivering site data, many global networks are starting to migrate to one of two emerging technologies: LTE Cat-M1 (Long Term Evolution for Machines) or NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT).
